With the Castle Hume course getting much deserved praise, the Summer Series continued last week with all the top players taking to the fairways. Scoring was excellent and the manicured greens proved to be a real challenge .

In the Stroke play format, Gordon Armstrong produced one of his best rounds of the year to shoot a stunning 66 Net. The Castle Hume member could not put a shot wrong throughout the round and eased home to a three shot victory.

In runner up spot and continuing his recent fine form was Matthew McConkey with a solid 69. Completing the podium was Tristan Treacy who has been knocking on the podium door over the past weeks. Peter Clifford continued his excellent performances with another Gross Prize- 75 .

In the Stableford format competition, Matthew McConkey was in fantastic form as he shot a super score of 41 points to claim top place. Fintan Timoney came home with a runner up score of 39 points just beating Eamon Flood on count back.

The Gross Prize was won by Frazer McLean with a score of 32 points.

In Team news, the Ulster Cup Team lost their entertaining Match to a very strong Concra Wood Team. A valiant performance by all the Team with heads held high.
