Enniskillen took a break from the league to play a friendly against Donegal last Saturday.

Donegal made the short journey to Mullaghmeen with nine enthusiastic players so in the spirit of rugby, some of the Enniskillen lads volunteered to pull on the Donegal shirt and play for them.

The first period was played at a fast tempo with some good attacking rugby resulting in tries by Connor McLean, Ben Robinson, Phil McGarrity and Max McCormick.

Conleith Hill was able to convert one of the tries.

After a team rejig, the second third was a much closer affair with Donegal scoring two tries, one by Enniskillen’s very own Connor McLean.

Enniskillen scored two more tries by Dylan Griffith and Ben Robinson. With Dylan taking over the kicking duties he converted the two tries.

The final period resulted in some more good solo tries by Ben Robinson, Gavin Hamilton, Adam Johnson and Max McCormick with Dylan Griffith managing to convert two of them.

In what may have seemed like a one sided game it was played in great spirit with both sides leaving the pitch smiling and shaking hands.

Indded, set of players played attacking rugby with some great individual tries and tackles.

It was also great preparation for the Enniskillen lads as they move into their last game against Armagh RFC on Saturday.
