Fermanagh joint manager Tony Collins was delighted to see his side secure their place in the next round of the Ulster Minor Football Championship following a 2-9 to 1-9 win over Down at Brewster Park today.
First half goals from Tiernan Wray and Cian O'Brien helped Fermanagh into a 2-04 to 1-02 half time lead and although Down battled back to within a point in the second half, Fermanagh weathered the storm to seal the win and set up a meeting with Donegal next weekend.
