The picture in the Mannok Fermanagh SFC became a lot clearer following yesterday's final round of the group games.

Wins for Derrygonnelly and Kinawley over Erne Gaels and Enniskillen respectively saw them top their groups and therefore guarantee a place in the semi-final of the competition while next weekend's quarter finals will see Enniskillen host Belnaleck and Erne Gaels have home advantage over Roslea.

The relegation play off will see Teemore face Ederney.

After a tight opening spell in Garrison, Derrygonnelly began to pull away from Erne Gaels as Shane McGullion's goal helped them into a 1-08 to 0-06 half time lead.

Erne Gaels did close the gap back to three after the resumption but with Ryan Jones, Conor McGovern and Garvan Jones rattling over points the Harps moved into a 1-13 to 0-09 lead as the contest entered the final ten minutes.

Erne Gaels though did rally late on and Ryan Lyons hit the net while Barry McCann and Shane Mimnagh knocked over points to close the gap back to two.

And the Belleek men had a late chance to snatch the win but Harps goalkeeper Jack Kelly saved from Ultan Kelm as Derrygonnelly won 1-13 to 1-11 to finish top of Group A.

In the same group, Belnaleck and Teemore played out a close, low scoring encounter.

The sides were level at 0-03 apiece at the break before Teemore moved two ahead in the third quarter. Belnaleck replied with four points in a row including scores from Garvan Quigley and Bryan Owens to lead 0-08 to 0-06 but the Shamrocks respoonded and Eoin McManus drew them level in added on time. It wasn't enough though for Teemore who needed to win to keep alive their championship hopes and they now face the relegation play off.

In Group B, it was a straight shoot out between Kinawley and Enniskillen to decide who would top the group.

A fired up Kinawley had much the better of the exchanges in the first quarter with Lorcan McKenna in fine form at they opened up a 0-07 to 0-03 advantage.

Enniskillen did rally in the latter stages of the half and with Conor Love landing three points they closed the gap to two at the interval, 0-08 to 0-06.

Indeed, Enniskillen tagged on the next three points after half time through Love, Callum Jones and John Reihill to edge ahead but Kinawley responded with Tomás Corrigan and Shaun Doherty fisting over points to regain the lead.

Love levelled matter once again but two Corrigan frees made it 0-12 to 0-10 as the tie moved into the final ten minutes.

Callum Jones then reduced the deficit to the minimum but McKenna was to have the last say as he fired over a point in added on time to clinch a deserved 0-13 to 0-11 win for the Brian Borus.

In the other game in the group Roslea saw off Ederney to book their place in the quarter finals and consigning Ederney to the relegation play off.

The sides were tied at 0-04 apiece at the interval with Seamus Quigley and Sean Quigley on target for Roslea while Conor McGee, Paul McCusker and Pol McKervey registering for Ederney.

It was Roslea though who were to push on after the interval as Seamus Quigley landed a further seven points to help Roslea into a 0-12 to 0-07 lead.

Ederney did have late points from McKervey and McCusker but it was not enough as Roslea secured a three point victory while 2020 champions Ederney must prepare for a relegation play off against Teemore.
