Enniskillen 0-14 Belnaleck 1-6

An excellent second half display saw Enniskillen see off Belnaleck to secure their place in the last four of the Fermanagh SFC at a wet Brewster Park tonight.

Belnaleck had appeared to be gaining control of matters in the first half as they opened up a five point gap and at the break they led by four.

However, Enniskillen bossed the exchanges in the second half, outscoring Belnaleck 11 points to two to take their place in the semi-final of the competition.

The Gaels had started brightly as they carved out two goal chances in the opening six minutes but Johnny Cassidy pushed his effort wide while Aaron Nolan's shot was saved by Ryan McNulty in the Belnaleck goal.

And it looked as if they would rue those misses as Bryan Owens palmed to the net after being teed up by Ciaran McBrien while Kane Connor, James Speight and Owens tagged on points to make it 1-04 to 0-02.

Callum Jones did land the last point of the half for Enniskillen but at the break Belnaleck held a four point advantage, 1-04 to 0-03.

Jones though rattled over his second point within 20 seconds of the restart and although Garvan Quigley answered with along range effort for Belnaleck, the momentum began to swing the way of the Gaels.

Neil McDermott, Conor Love, John Reihill and Brandon Horan fired over to level things before a further Jones point, that clipped the bar on the way over, put Enniskillen ahead for the first time, 0-09 to 1-05.

Darragh McGurn did reply with a good point for Belnaleck with ten minutes to go to level up proceedings, but it was Enniskillen who pushed on for the victory.

A Reihill free edged them back ahead and Ross Bogue made it a two point game with six minutes to play.

And Conor Love wrapped things up with three points from play in the closing stages as Enniskillen finished up 0-14 to 1-06 victors.
