Harry McKenzie produced a superb run to claim gold for Enniskillen Running Club at the Ulster Uneven Age Group Cross Country Championships at the Finn Valley Centre in Donegal last Saturday.

McKenzie dominated the Boys U15 race with a very mature run before striking for home with 250 metres to go to clinch his first Ulster title.

And there was plenty more good performances from the club's athletes on the day.

In the U13 Girls there was a team silver for Enniskillen Running Club with four girls inside the top 16 on the day.

Megan Mullally led the way in sixth with Kate Kelly next over the line in seventh. Annabelle McKenzie came home in 12th spot, the trio sealing their spot in the Ulster team, while Maille Hennessy was agonisingly just outside the medals in 16th place. Meadh Donnelly and Eva Hennessy also produced good runs to make up the scorers as they took silver behind Finn Valley. This is the second team medal for this group of girls having also won silver at both U12 and U14 two weeks ago.

In the Boys U17 race, Ben Warnock, running for Monaghan Phoenix AC, crossed the line joint third in a photo finish while ERC's Jamie McDonnell booked his place on the Ulster team with a top ten finish.

Tiernan McManus and Charlie Reihill were also top 20 finishers to help St. Michael's to a third spot in the team section, behind Monaghan Phoenix and Letterkenny.

And in the Girls U19 section, ERC's Nadine McIntyre had a superb run to come home in ninth spot as she took sealed her place on the Ulster team for the finals in Cork.
