Senior Championship winners Enniskillen Gaels were the top recipients at the annual Fermanagh Club All Stars awards – a night that marks all that is good in GAA in the county.

The event, organised by Teemore Shamrocks, saw the Team of the Year named as well as a number of individual and special awards.

Enniskillen had five players selected in the All Star team, while Gaels defender Johnny Cassidy was named as Player of the Championship.

Intermediate champions Devenish, Junior winners Newtownbutler as well as Derrygonnelly Harps, Erne Gaels and Kinawley Brian Borus also had players pick up All Star awards.

The night also saw a number of other awards presented.

Derrylin’s Cathair Leonard was named as Young Player of the Year, while Derrygonnelly sharpshooter Eimear Smyth won the Ladies Player of the Year, with Kinawley’s Kate Murphy the Young Ladies Player of the Year.

In hurling, Ciaran Duffy picked up the Hurler of the Year award, while Caolan Duffy was named as Young Hurler of the Year.

Referee of the Championship went to Eoin Murphy of Derrylin.

There were also a number of special awards made on the night. Derrylin’s Emma Brown was the recipient of the Health and Wellbeing Award, while Enniskillen’s Seamie Donegan picked up the Volunteer of the Year award.

His Enniskillen club-mate Joe McGurn was inducted to the Hall of Fame, while the Coaching Recognition Award went to Aghadrumsee for their Gaelic 4 Mothers and Others.
