Fermanagh manager Kieran Donnelly acknowledged a massive result as his side moved a step closer to securing promotion in Division Three following a 0-15 to 2-08 victory over Westmeath in Ederney today.
Only one point separated the sides at the dead but in truth Fermanagh were much the better side on the day although two quick fire Westmeath goals with ten minutes to go closed the gap back to one and set up a tense finale.
Ultan Kelm and Che Cullen though landed big scores late on deservedly seal the win for the Ernemen.
