Cavan 2-09 Fermanagh 1-14
Fermanagh praised the character shown by his players as they set aside the concession of two first half goals to secure promotion to Division Two with victory over Cavan in Kingspan Breffni Park today.
Jonathan McCabe and Jack McKenna got the goals as Cavan went in at the break with a 2-03 to 0-06 lead.
And that advantage stretched out to five early in the second half.
However, Fermanagh fought their way back with Ryan Jones landing three second half points.
The impressive Ultan Kelm fired Fermanagh ahead for the first time in the game in the 57th minute while Kelm and Ryan Lyons also tagged on points to push Fermanagh to victory.
The sides will now meet again next weekend at Croke Park in the Division Three final.
