Clogher Valley 1st XV 14 Ballyclare 1st XV 71
A much changed Clogher Valley suffered a heavy defeat in today's Towns' Cup final as Ballyclare retained the title with a 71-14 victory at Kingspan Stadium.
With one eye firmly on this Saturday's All Ireland League Play Off final against Richmond as well as a number of injury concerns, Valley fielded a heavily rotated side.
And it was Ballyclare who took control early on as they went in at the break with a 40-7 advantage, the Clogher try coming from lock Mark McKenna with Reece Smyton converting.
Ballyclare kept their foot on the pedal in the second half as they continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over didn't ease off into the second half and quickly kept the scoreboard moving.
Clogher did register a second try as the forwards powered over with Smyton again converting but they had no answer to Ballyclare who finished up convincing victors.
