PING’s G30 range has topped four of the major hardware product categories over the past 12 months, according to Golf Datatech LLC.

The G30 has been the top-selling driver, fairway wood, hybrid and iron in terms of both value and units since the introduction of the family to the market in August 2014.

As a result, PING has achieved the number one selling brand position in terms of value (24.1%) and volume (21.1%) across all clubs.

“That success is very satisfying, knowing so many golfers are benefiting from the technology of the G30,” said PING chairman and CEO John Solhiem.

“It’s a tribute to our engineering team and to the hundreds of club fitters around the country who take the time to properly fit their customers for the correct woods and irons.

“Their ability to match the head technology with the proper shaft is allowing golfers of all skill levels to see significant distance and accuracy gains, finding more fairways and greens than ever.” Callaway’s latest driving model Callaway has unveiled the new Great Big Bertha driver which the brand is touting as its “fastest, most forgiving and distance-enhancing product ever”.

The latest reincarnation of the Big Bertha driver, which represented a huge breakthrough in golf club technology when the club was launched in the 1990s, features next generation R-MOTO technology to provide the structure for a thinner face, leading to higher ball speeds on all strikes.

The driver also comes packed with Adjustable Perimeter Weighting, via a 10g sliding weight that not only adds greater stability but also provides players with unlimited draw and fade bias options.

A refined, shorter track promotes more draw bias than ever before, to give golfers maximum dispersion control, as well as exceptional forgiveness, to help keep shots on line more often.

And as always with Callaway drivers these days, an Optifit hosel lets golfers choose from eight different configurations to further tune loft, lie and face angle.
