SCOLLAN Gerry The family of Gerry Scollan would like to offer heartfelt and sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent sad and untimely bereavement of a dearly loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Thank you to all staff at South West Acute Hospital who cared for Gerry in any way. Special thanks to Fr. Seamus Quinn for the lovely funeral Mass which was a fitting tribute to Gerry. We are indebted to Michael Leydon Funeral Director for his compassionate, professional and dignified manner in which he carried out through the funeral arrangements. We sincerely thank the communities of Belcoo, Blacklion and Mullaghdun for firstly standing guard of honour through the villages upon the return of Gerry's remains and secondly for all their assistance and support over the wake and funeral. Grateful thanks to all members of Belcoo O'Rahilly's GAA for also forming guard of honours at all times. Thank you to all those who contributed to the Mass, the altar servers, readers, Eucharistic ministers, gravediggers, sound and audio technician, and especially to all the Stewart's who helped with parking. To Gerry's nieces, Lorraine, Louise and Majella O'Reilly thank you for providing such beautiful music at the funeral, he would have been so proud. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude and appreciation. Gerry's Months Mind Mass will take place on Sunday 23rd September at 11:30am in St. Joseph's Church Mullaghdun.
