MARY DONEGAN

DONEGAN Mary The family of the late Mary Donegan (RIP), wife of Joe, mother of Brenda (Barry), Niall (Sinead), Joseph (Nicola), Paul (Leann), her grandchildren; brothers Pat, John, Jimmy and Brian, sisters Margaret and Bernadette; her brothers and sisters-in-law and the entire family circle wish to express their sincere gratitude and thanks to all who offered their sympathy and comforted them in their recent sad loss. We thank all those who attended the wake, remains and Funeral, brought gifts, telephoned, sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or made donations to Macmillan. Sincerest thanks to our wonderful neighbours, friends and members of Teemore GFC who worked tirelessly in the house, brought and prepared food, drove the bus or supervised parking and safety on the main road; we will always be incredibly grateful for your kindness and generosity. We offer special thanks to all the Priests who visited Mary during her brief stay in hospital. Deepest thanks to Fr Alwill who celebrated a meaningful Funeral Mass for Mary and to Fr McKiernan for a beautiful and very personal eulogy. Thanks also to Fr Donegan, Canon McQuaid, Fr Scanlon and Fr Comiskey for helping con-celebrate Mary's Funeral. To Mary's nieces who provided such moving music during her Funeral and to all other family members who participated in Mary's Funeral Mass; heartfelt thanks. A special mention of appreciation to Dr Quinn and Laura (Belfast City Hospital) who providied wonderful medical care for Mary. Also sincere thanks to all the lovely District Nurses who attended Mary. To the Nurses and Staff of Ward 3 (SWAH) who cared for Mary with such kindness and compassion; to Marian Stewart and Dr Robinson (Palliative Care Team), you were a pillar of strength and a great comfort to the family. To Dr McBrien , (Cuilcagh Medical Practice), McGovern's (Derrylin) and Brady's Pharmacies (Florencecourt); your help was deeply appreciated by the family. Many thanks to Mary's Derrylin Camogie Team Mates, Teemore GFC, Mount Lourdes Grammar School, St. Aidan's High School, St. Ninnidh's Primary School and Quinn Group for their attendance at Mary's remains or Funeral and for the various Guards of Honour. To St. Ninnidh's Hall Committee and Volunteers for providing beautiful food and refreshments in the Hall after Mary's Funeral; thank you. We thank Blake's Funeral Undertakers; Pat and Mark carried out Mary's Funeral arrangements in a very dignified and professional manner. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our deepest appreciation. Mary's Month's Mind will be celebrated in St. Ninnidh's Church, Derrylin on Friday 7th December at 7pm.
