MURPHY John 19th April 2019 Late of Main Street, Brookeborough John's sons, Declan and Adrian, his daughters, Deirdre and Auveen, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and entire family circle would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. To all those who called at the home, brought gifts, telephoned, sent Mass cards and sympathy cards and to those who attended his Funeral Mass. Thanks also to those who helped out in the home and to the Valley Hotel for their generosity. A very special mention to the Ambulance Service and the Paramedics who worked so hard to help John and to the Staff of S.W.A.H who did their utmost for John upon his arrival there. Thank you also to Doctor Scott who quickly attended to offer his help and to the Doctors and Nursing Staff from Maple Group Practice who cared for John over the years. To Canon Dawson, who celebrated John's Funeral Mass and gave a very fitting tribute to him. We also extend our gratitude to Fr. Shannon who assisted Canon Dawson at the Funeral Mass. To Fr. Gallagher, Canon Jimmy McPhillips and Fr. McKenna for calling at the house. Thank you to Karen McElroy for providing the beautiful music and singing and to Ollie and Leo Swift for the caring and dignified manner in which they carried out the Funeral arrangements. Thank you to the Altar Servers and the Gravediggers. A special word of thanks to Brookeborough G.A.C Committee for the use of the Hall and to all those who gave their valuable time to provide tea and refreshments after the Funeral. We also wish to thank our good neighbours and friends, in particular, Iris for her generosity at the time of the Funeral and throughout the years. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. John's Month's Mind Mass will be held in St. Mary's Church, Brookeborough on Saturday 18th May at 7pm.
