ROONEY Patrick (Pat) We, the family of the late Patrick (Pat) Rooney, who died on 23rd April, 2019, wish to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. Thank you to all who called at the house, sent Mass cards or sympathy cards, brought food and attended the Funeral. Special thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us. To our extended family, neighbours and friends, and especially those who worked tirelessly throughout the wake, we are grateful for your kindness and support. To the Ambulance Service and Liaison Officers who attended our home, we are grateful for your help. Special thanks to Fr. Kevin Duffy P.P. for his support and for officiating at the Funeral Mass, and thanks to Canon Michael Mc Gourty, Fr. Frank McManus and Canon Lawrence Dawson for assisting throughout the Mass. We would like to thank John McKeegan, Funeral Undertaker, and his Staff for carrying out their duties in a dignified and professional manner at our home and throughout the Funeral Service and burial. Thanks to Francie Molloy, Church Sacristan, to the Gravedigger, the Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, the Legion of Mary and Patricia Rogers for the beautiful music and singing at the Requiem Mass. To George Beacom and the Staff of the Bawnacre Centre, as well as the Parish Group who served refreshments after the Funeral, we extend our thanks. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement of our sincere appreciation. Pat's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church, Irvinestown on Saturday 25th May 2019 at 6.00pm.
