KEYS William 'Ivan' 15th May 2019 The family of the late William 'Ivan' Keys, 21 Station Brae, Ballinamallard wish to express sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who supported the family circle practically and prayerfully throughout Ivan's illness and in their recent bereavement. Our thanks to all those who sent cards, messages of sympathy and gave donations in lieu of flowers. We owe a debt of gratitude to the medical consultant, Dr. Emma McCracken, the Medical Team and professionals associated with Ivan's treatment, also the nursing and support staff, the Palliative Care Team and all the staff in Ward 6, South West Acute Hospital for their exceptional and compassionate care. We are grateful for the care given by Dr. Toal and his colleagues, Enniskillen Health Centre, also to Ivan's carers at home, District Nurses, staff at the Village Pharmacy, Ballinamallard, and Mrs Seana McIntyre, his social worker, for their kindness and understanding. Our thanks to Mrs Norma Ferguson, the staff and helpers at Chest, Heart & Stroke for their invaluable support. We greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness of friends and neighbours who visited Ivan at home and in hospital, especially his lifelong friend Walter Campbell. Many thanks to Miss Suzy Barkley for bringing the horse which led the cortege - it was a moving tribute to Ivan's love of horses. Special thanks to Rev. John Beacom for his comforting message at the Funeral Service, his faithful visits, support and encouragement during Ivan's illness. The family also wish to thank the hospital chaplain Rev. Lorna Dreaning for her pastoral care. Our grateful thanks to the ladies who gave of their time to prepare and serve refreshments in the Church Hall after the Funeral. Our sincere thanks to the organist Mrs Ruth Coalter and Mr. Alex Hetherington for his musical accompaniment on the accordion which was a fitting tribute to Ivan's interest in accordion music. Finally our thanks to the gravedigger who prepared the grave and Mr. Marcus Madill, (S. R. Elliott, Funeral Directors), for his help and support and the caring and dignified manner in which the arrangements and associated practicalities were carried out. We trust this acknowledgment will serve as a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation by sons Nigel and Jonathan, former wife Sadie, sisters Lorna Armstrong and Noreen Morrison and the wider family circle.
