Frankie Goan

GOAN Frankie Michael 13th August, 2019 (Aged 3 days) Parents Shane and Sinead, brother Danny, sisters Cassie, Nancy, Rosie and Connie and the Goan and Brennan Families, would like to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the heart-breaking loss of our precious little baby Frankie Michael. A sincere thank you to all who visited our home, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters of comfort, telephoned, sent messages, brought food, sent flowers and attended the Mass of the Angels service. A special word of thanks to the Royal Victoria Maternity Hospital, in particular the Doctors and Nurses in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit, especially Consultant Claire Anderson. Thanks also to the Medical Staff in A Ward. Many thanks to the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion for the invaluable service that they provided. We wish to express our gratitude to Consultant Angela McKinney, Health Visitor Mary McAuley and the Mid-wives at the Omagh Hospital. We offer our heartfelt thanks to both the Lily-Mae Foundation and SANDS for providing support and comfort with their generous donations which allowed us to create memories and from which we will forever cherish. For this we are truly grateful. We extend our thanks to Father Kevin Duffy P.P. who celebrated the Funeral Mass as well as providing support and comfort to us. A big thanks to Shannelle Mullan who went above and beyond by providing the most beautiful music throughout the Service. Thanks also to those who contributed to the Mass, the Readers, Gift-bearers, Eucharistic Ministers, Sacristan and the Gravedigger. A special mention to Cassie and Nancy for reading a very personal poem for wee Frankie which was a very fitting tribute. Much appreciation to Jim Barnett (Funeral Director) for his attentive, sensitive and professional manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements. Also thanks to Dervilia (DD Flowers) for the beautiful floral arrangements and to St. Molaise GFC, Irvinestown for their guard of honour. Finally, Shane, Sinead and Children would like to emphasise their immense gratitude to their parents/grand-parents Dessie and Fidelma Brennan, Frankie and Teresa Goan, sisters/aunties, brothers/uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Over the past few months, your emotional support, kindness and practical assistance has been truly appreciated and we feel blessed for that. Since our time of deep sorrow and great loss, you all gave us so much love, advice and encouragement which we really value and have gained a lot of strength and comfort from. Rory, Helen and children, we cannot thank you enough for the support and help you have given us and for that we will be forever grateful. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. Frankie's Month's Mind Mass will take place on Sunday, 15th September at 11.00am in the Sacred Heart Church, Irvinestown. "You left this world but forgot to tell our hearts how to live with out." xxxxxxx
