McGOVERN Hugh Death occurred on October 13th, 2019 The family of the late Hugh McGovern, Moheranea, Kinawley, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. A special thanks to Fr. Maurice McMorrow P.P. Kinawley for providing spiritual support and meaningful prayers during the wake and removal to St. Naile's Church, and for celebrating a beautiful funeral Mass. Sincere thanks for those who cared for Hugh during his long life, initially at home in Moheranea and in the last two years at the Tilery Nursing Home. Heartfelt thanks to all the carers for their dedication and care to their job, it is greatly appreciated. We are especially grateful to all our kind neighbours, relatives, work colleagues and friends who helped organise and assist with the wake at home, for those who brought gifts, sent flowers, Mass cards, sympathy cards, telephoned and sent heartfelt messages. For all those who travelled long distances to attend the removal and the funeral, your attendance is deeply appreciated by all the family. To Tom McNulty, Funeral Undertaker, a thank you for the dignified way you carried out the funeral arrangements. To the gravediggers under the direction of Tom McNulty who carefully prepared Hugh's final resting place in St. Naile's Cemetery alongside his loving wife Margaret, who predeceased him in 2011. To family friend, Padriac McCooey, for travelling to be with us and providing the beautiful singing at the Funeral Mass. Thanks to Fr. Gerry Commiskey P.P. St. Patrick's, Milltown, for joining the concelebrated Funeral Mass in Kinawley, your attendance was greatly appreciated. Thanks to the Roche family for the refreshments after the funeral. Hugh's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Naile's Church, Kinawley, on Friday, November 8th, 2019 at 8pm.
