JIM CONWAY

CONWAY Jim Lakeview House, 29 Main Street, Belcoo 17th January 2021 The family of Jim Conway, (Wife) Vera, Marie (Nigel), Paschal (Kate), Veronica (Jos), Ciara (Billy), his brothers Fr Eddie and Eugene, grandchildren and extended family wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss. To those who sent cards, text messages, made phone calls, sent condolences online, sent flowers to the family and joined with us on the webcam in the celebration of Jim's funeral mass, we thank you all. To all those who have made donations to Ellie's Retreat in lieu of flowers, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, this is a cause that was very close to Jim's heart. We would like to thank all those who provided refreshments for the family, they were greatly appreciated. A special word of thanks to Jim McGovern, Mortuary Manager at the South West Acute Hospital for all his care and assistance. To Jim's good friends Stella McGriskin, Liam Jones and Dessie McKenzie who walked in front of the hearse as a mark of respect and for all their professional help and assistance. To all those who stood at the roadside (socially distancing) as a mark of respect as the cortege passed, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you to those who parked and directed the traffic allowing Jim his final journey up Main Street, through the village and on to Holywell Church. We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Fr Quinn for the beautiful mass in celebration of Jim's life and to Sharon Kelly and Mary Keenan for the beautiful music in the chapel, to Mary Howe Flowers for the lovely floral tributes and to Sean Leonard for preparing Jim's final resting place. We would also like to thank Dr Cunningham, Dr Sweeney, Dr Tracey, Teresa Hall and all the staff at Cuilcagh Medical Practice for their care of Jim over the years, and to all the staff on Ward 9 at the South West Acute Hospital who cared for Jim during his short illness. Each and every one of you took care of Jim with the upmost respect through these difficult times and for this we will be eternally grateful. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions. Jim's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated In St Patricks Church Holywell on Saturday 20th February at 7.30pm and may be viewed via the webcam on www.churchservices.tv/belcoo
