Fermanagh/Tyrone Brass Band Summer School has been running for three years now and is looking to make its fourth year the biggest yet.

The purpose of the summer school is to help individual players improve not only on their playing ability but also working with others in a brass band ensemble. As the summer school has been growing over the past three years and also been exceeding the expectations of the participants, Les Neish with his excellent work continues to be the principal tutor and also with last year being a success we have invited again the tutors from Leyland Band, ranked one of the top brass bands in the world. They will accompany him at this event for 2015.

This Saturday the brass band summer school are putting on a fundraising concert to raise funds towards the summer school 2015.

The concert consists of fantastic local acts which will make this variety concert, one not to be missed. Acts are to include members of the Enniskillen Light Operatic, fresh off their sold out Grease “The Musical” Shows and Murley Silver Band (Northern Ireland Brass Band Champions 2014).

The concert also features Brookeborough Flute Band and a traditional Irish group and local singer, Lauren Coulter.

It will be held at the Enniskillen Hotel at 8pm.

Admission is £10 and concession is £5. All Proceeds will go towards Fermanagh/Tyrone Brass Band Summer School 2015.
