Mc CORMACK Hugh Francis (Frankie) Donagh Passed away 6th February 2024 Frankie's wife Nuala, children; Siobhan, Elizabeth and Hugh and brothers, sisters and extended family circle wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with and supported us during our sad loss of Frankie. Thank you to the many people who called to our home from near and far, telephoned, sent Mass and sympathy cards and attended the Funeral Mass. A special word of thanks to those who lined along the route as we brought Frankie home for his wake. We took great comfort from this. Thank-you to our neighbours, friends and local businesses who provided food and refreshments for us during the wake. We truly appreciated this. A special word of thanks to the McDermott family for their kindness. We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to Fr Kevin Malcolmson for his kindness and support to Frankie and us as a family during Frankie's illness and also for his moving homily which summed up Frankie's personality and life beautifully. Thanks also to Fr Seamus Quinn (Belcoo) for con-celebrating Frankie's Funeral Mass. Thanks to Samantha Breslin for the beautiful music during Frankie's funeral and to Sacristan Mickey McDermott. Thank you to our family and friends who took part in the Funeral Mass and to those who carried the coffin. Thanks also to those who helped with traffic management during the wake. We would like to extend our thanks to the healthcare staff who looked after Frankie. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the District Nursing Team and Marie Curie nurses who cared for Frankie with immense kindness and compassion in his final days with us. Thanks also to the staff of Clarke's Chemist and McDaid's Pharmacy, Lisnaskea for always being so kind and helpful. We greatly appreciate the kindness and support from Ollie and Leo Swift- Swift & McCaffrey Funeral Directors. Thank you for your help and guidance arranging Frankie's funeral. Thank you to the staff of St Patrick's Clubhouse who provided refreshments for after the funeral. Thanks also to Donagh Development Association for your touching tribute to Frankie and for facilitating those attending the funeral to be able to watch the funeral in the Millenium Hall- we are extremely grateful for this. We extend heartfelt thanks to all those friends and neighbours who provided practical help over the days before and after Frankie's passing- for this we will be forever grateful. Thank you to members, staff and pupils of the following groups who formed guards of honour as Frankie was brought to his Funeral Mass; St Patrick's GFC, St Joseph's PS Donagh, St Columban's PS Belcoo, Donagh Wee Folk Playschool, Donagh Vintage Men and Monaghan Vintage Club. Your presence was a source of great comfort to us. Finally, we want to acknowledge the comfort we felt from hearing the stories shared about Frankie, it reaffirmed to us that he was a great person who showed kindness to all and was someone who had time for everyone he met on his travels. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt thanks for the support we received as a family in the days before and after Frankie's passing. The holy sacrament of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Memories of Frankie will be cherished forever. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Greatly loved and sadly missed by his wife Nuala, son Hugh, daughters Siobhan and Elizabeth, sons in law Ryan and Niall, brothers John and Cornie, sisters Geraldine, Nuala and Ann, uncles John and Francie Treacy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family circle. Frankie's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 9th March at 6.30pm in St Patrick's Church, Donagh.
