COX Tom 6th February 2024 Killyhevlin Demesne, Enniskillen The family of the late Tom Cox wish to express our deep appreciation and extend our sincere thanks for the unwavering support, words of comfort and the overwhelming kindness shown to us following our recent sad bereavement. We were very comforted by the many messages of support, letters of condolences, the gestures of sympathy and to the many people who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, text messages, social media messages, phone calls and the charitable donations sent in lieu of flowers. Sincere thanks to those who attended the wake and funeral, especially those who had made long journeys to be with us. We were greatly moved by our neighbours who stood at the road to pay their respects for Tom's final journey. We would like to extend our deepest thanks to the dedicated health care professionals of Ward 8 SWAH, your compassionate care and timeless efforts in providing comfort to Tom and his family, this did not go unnoticed and we are eternally grateful. Thanks to Claire Ann from the Palliative Care Team for looking after Tom and the family so attentively. A special word of thanks to Monsignor Peter O'Reilly and Father Brian Darcy in providing pastoral care to Tom while in SWAH. A heartfelt thank you to Swift & McCaffrey for their diligent professionalism in carrying out the funeral arrangements. Their compassionate support in ensuring Tom's final journey was completed with great dignity and respect. Thanks also to the gravediggers for preparing Tom's final resting place. Sincere gratitude to Father Raymond Donnelly for his kind words of support, for his prayers, spiritual guidance and support to us, the family, in preparation for the celebration of the Requiem Mass and for the moving personal homily. Thank you to the family members who did the Readings, Prayers of the Faithful, Eucharistic Ministers and to the Sacristan. Thank you to Michelle and Eoghan for the beautiful singing and music which enhanced the funeral liturgy. Thank you to the hospitality provided by the management and staff of the Westville Hotel after the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest appreciation and whole hearted thanks. Tom is sadly missed and fondly remembered by his beloved wife Mary, his son Conan (Tanya), daughter Aine and grandchildren Katie and Ethan; also by his Brothers, Sister, Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, Neighbours and the entire Family Circle. ____________________ Tom's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated Saturday March 9th at 6pm in St Michael's Church, Enniskillen.
