MURPHY Rhoda 19 March 2024 The family of the late Rhoda Murphy, RIP, would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. We would like to thank the wider family members and friends that called to the family home, those that travelled to attend the funeral and those that stood out as the funeral cortege passed by from the family home in Clonliff to the Chapel. We would like to acknowledge our huge gratitude to the men and women from Kinawley GFC who marshalled traffic at the family home during the wake and controlled traffic along the route of the funeral cortege. Sincere thanks to Fr. McMorrow for his spiritual assistance during Rhoda's illness and his kind words reflecting Rhoda's life during the homily and Requiem Mass. A special thanks also to Fr. Johnnie Cusack, a dear friend of Rhoda and the wider family circle who co-celebrated the Mass. We would also like to acknowledge our gratitude to Brenda Gunn, Claire Saulle (nee Melanophy), Leanne Drumm, and Aidan McBrien for the beautiful music and all others who took part in the Mass and made it so special for the family. Thanks to the Gravediggers and to Tom McNulty Funeral Director, who carried out the funeral arrangements in his usual dignified and respectful manner. Thanks also to all those who telephoned, sent sympathy cards, Mass cards and many thoughtful and sincere letters in memory of Rhoda. We would particularly like to thank all the Staff in Ward 5 (Stroke Unit) at the South West Acute Hospital, who provided exceptional care to Rhoda at all times. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere and heartfelt thanks of gratitude to all who helped in any way. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions. 'As each day dawns, we think of you; as each night falls, we pray for you. And throughout our lives, no matter where; in our hearts you are always there.' ________ Rhoda's Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 20th April in St.Naile's Church, Kinawley at 8.15pm.
