A new sponsor for the Champion of Champions in the livestock sector; the final of the new NISA/Ulster Bank Pedigree Heifer competition; numerous qualifiers in the cattle and sheep sections: the Show Jumping Ireland Series Show Jumping Grand Prix; and as World Cup predictions abound Omagh Show will be quite up to date with a class for a collage picture entitled 'The World Cup' and a Floral Art class entitled "Football Crazy"..

That's all happening over the two days of this year's Omagh Show which takes place on Friday and Saturday next, July 2 and 3.

But there's more with floral art demonstrations, a fashion show, a cookery demonstration featuring local produce; live entertainment ; Mangalitza pigs, a Samba band and a racehorse to riding horse competition..

Those who visited Balmoral Show will have had an opportunity to view the Mangalitza pigs. Robert Boyle from Beechmount Farm, Millisle has agreed to bring these rare pigs to Omagh Show, so that will be an attraction for young and old alike.

The dairy section again includes a qualifier for McLarnons Feeds/NISA Dairy Cow Championship 2010.The Champion Interbreed Dairy Cow of the Show will this year by sponsored by Fane Valley Feeds who have now fully purchased the Scotts Feeds business and who we are delighted to announce, are continuing the sponsorship of this important aspect of Omagh Show.

The list of qualifiers in the beef section at Omagh Show includes the Cydectin Charolais Championship, Simmental "Ivomec Super" Simmental Pair of The Year, Limousin Qualifying Show for the All Ireland Bull and Heifer Derby, Northern Bank Limousin "Show Team" of The Year, Ulster Bank/Commercial Cattle Club Suckler Heifer Championship, British Blue ISA Young Bull Championship and the Rare Breed Qualifier for the Rare Breeds Cattle Derby.

The Hereford Breed will have a cup re-presented by Mr. Jack Morrision of Armoy for the best Hereford Bull of the Show, The Irish Hereford Breeders Association Cup.

Sheep and home industries also play a major part in the success of Omagh Show and these will also feature strongly next weekend.

Entertainment has always been evident during Show Day in Omagh and there is a full line-up of acts to keep the crowds' attention.
