Roads Minister Danny Kennedy has announced the start of 50,000 resurfacing works on the A35 Kesh Road at Rehall near Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh.
The work is due to begin on Monday 24 September from the Moynaghan North Road for a distance of 700 metres.
The Minister said: "The benefit of the scheme will improve the running surface of the road and leave it more acceptable to road users. The road closure will commence at 8am on Monday 24 September and continue until 6pm each day until Friday 28 September. The road will be open at night. Traffic will be diverted via the B533 Lisnarick Road and the B82 Killadeas Road."
Roads Service has carefully programmed the works operations and traffic management arrangements in order to minimise any inconvenience to the public, however motorists should be aware that some delays may be expected and that additional time should be allowed when planning any journeys.
