Enniskillen-born film producer Brian J Falconer was thrilled to win a BAFTA last night for the Best British short film for Boogaloo and Graham.
Brian, a son of Seamus and Anne Falconer, tweeted his joy at thenwin last night with the words: "Thanks Mum and Dad".
The film is now hotly tipped for Oscar glory.
The film tells of the tale of two boys whose lives are transformed when their father presents them with baby chicks to look after.
