OVER £18,000 has been spent on providing storage space at Enniskillen Fire Station.
The work has been geared towards the provision of a locker room for firefighters and enhanced public address systems to aid alerting processes. Other items recently purchased for the upgrade included six dining chairs, an A3 laminator and a set of household pans.
According to details realised by the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service following a Freedom of Information request, some of the costs of the new facilities and various items were as follows:
