POLICE have appealed for witnesses and information after a male pedestrian was struck by a car outside St Aidan’s High School, Derrylin, last Thursday.

According to Constable Hawthorne, the male was struck by an Audi A4 on Main Street in Derrylin at around 4.05pm.

“The male sustained an injury to his ankle,” he said.

“We are appealing to anyone that may have any information or to anyone that may have been in the Main Street area of Derrylin at the time and witnessed anything that could help with the investigation to contact Enniskillen Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 836 on 17/11/16.

“Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to give information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
