A COLLECTION box built into the wall of a church in the Lisnaskea area has been forced open and its contents removed, the PSNI has revealed.
A police spokesperson said reports were received that sometime between Friday, March 31 and Thursday, April 6, an unknown person, or persons, entered Holy Cross Chapel on Knocks Road, Lisnaskea, before forcing open a collection box which was built into the wall and removing the contents.
The spokesperson added: “If anyone has any information relating to this they can contact 101 quoting ref 260 of 06/04/2017. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
