TWO men have been arrested today (Tuesday) in connection with the murder of PSNI Constable Ronan Kerr in April 2011, the PSNI have revealed.
Constable Kerr (25), who served in Enniskillen, was killed over six years ago when a dissident republican bomb exploded in his car outside his home in Omagh.
Detectives from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch arrested the men under the Terrorism Act.
A 27-year-old man was arrested in Omagh and a 40-year-old man was produced into police custody from prison, a police spokesperson has said.
“They have both been taken to Musgrave’s Serious Crime Suite where they are currently being questioned by police,” the spokesperson added.
