A 51-YEAR-OLD man who was caught speeding along the Cornagrade Road in Enniskillen has been fined £60.
Sean Flanagan, of Lisdead Road, Derrygonnelly, was charged with driving at excess speed on February 18, 2017.
Defending solicitor, Niall Bogue, entered a guilty plea on behalf of his client at Fermanagh Magistrates Court on Monday.
The court heard that the defendant was detected by a mobile camera driving at 37mph in a 30mph zone on Cornagrade Road.
He was offered a fixed penalty notice, but failed to take it up.
Mr. Bogue told the court that it had been a “simple oversight” on the part of the defendant.
District judge, Nigel Broderick, also ordered the defendant to pay a £15 offender levy and endorsed three penalty points on his driving licence.
