THE popular BBC One programme, Songs of Praise, will be coming to Enniskillen and Dungannon later this month to record for a broadcast of the Sunday programme.
The Songs of Praise team will be in St. Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen on Wednesday, September 27 between 6.30pm and 9.30pm and then on Thursday, September 28 in St. Patrick’s Church, Dungannon also during 6.30pm and 9.30pm.
Those attending must be seated by 6.15pm.
Series Executive Producer/Director, Emyr Afan says: “This recording is a wonderful opportunity for local singers to come together for an evening of music-making for broadcast on BBC One.
"Songs of Praise has been championing Christian music for over 55 years and continues to be enormously popular due to recordings like these and we really hope you can come along.”
Admission is free but those planning to attend should send their name and the number of people taking part to SOPcongregations@avantimedia.tv or call 0161 873 7073.
They are also asked to include the “Enniskillen” or “Dungannon” in the email’s subject header, depending on which recording you would like to attend.
People are welcome to attend either or both recordings but this should be indicated in the application.
