THE first Head Boy and Head Girl of the new St. Kevin’s College in Lisnaskea have been appointed.
Niall Curran (17), from Donagh, and Erinn Cadden (18), from Newtownbutler, are the two students to have been chosen for the roles at the school, which opened its doors for the first time this month.
Niall, who is studying ICT, creative media productions and business studies, said it would give him an opportunity to show and improve his leadership skills.
Meanwhile, Erinn said being Head Girl meant being a voice for the pupils of St. Kevin’s.
The Newtownbutler teenager, who plays GAA for her local club, is studying biology, PE and business studies.
St. Kevin’s College is an amalgamation of St. Comhghall’s College, Lisnaskea and St. Eugene’s College in Rosslea.
The new school’s motto is: ‘Believe, Achieve, Succeed.’
