A 36-YEAR-OLD man accused of sexually assaulting a woman last summer has appeared in court.
Aaron Deering Thomas Brown, of Rossfad Road, Ballinamallard, is charged with sexually assaulting the woman, who cannot be named to protect her identity, on August 10, 2017.
He is further charged with operating a taxi service without being the holder of a licence, keeping a vehicle which did not meet insurance requirements and using a motor vehicle without insurance at Carrickbeg Road, Enniskillen, on the same date.
Brown appeared before Fermanagh Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning, represented by solicitor Bernard Corrigan.
The defendant spoke only to confirm he understood the four charges against him.
A PSNI officer told the court that she believed she could connect the defendant to all the charges.
The Public Prosecution Service (PPS) representative sought a four-week adjournment in the case, given the nature of the first charge.
Deputy district judge, John Connolly, released the defendant on his own bail of £500 to appear back before the court on Wednesday, May 2.
Under the terms of his bail, he is banned from having any contact with the alleged injured party or members of her family.
