A man in his 50s is said to be in a stable condition at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast this week after he was involved in a farm accident on the Boho Church Road, Enniskillen last Wednesday.
Emergency services including the charity Air Ambulance were tasked to the address following reports of an unconscious male in his 50s at the scene.
He has been named locally as Kieran Curley.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a call at 10.22am on Wednesday, April 11, following reports of an unconscious male near Boho Church Road, Boho.
“One Emergency Ambulance crew was dispatched to the incident. The Charity Air Ambulance was also tasked to the scene.
“Following assessment and treatment at the scene, one patient was airlifted to Belfast City Airport prior to transportation to the Royal Victoria Hospital by Ambulance.”
According to police, the Health and Safety Executive were also in attendance and are investigating.
In a separate incident, the Air Ambulance was tasked to an incident on Saturday where a male had sustained leg injuries from a fallen tree.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a call at 3.40pm on Saturday following reports of a male with leg injuries sustained from a fallen tree on Lacky Road, Magheraveely.
“One Rapid Response Vehicle Paramedic and one Emergency Ambulance crew were dispatched to the incident. The Charity Air Ambulance was also tasked to the scene.
“Following assessment and treatment at the scene, one patient was transported to South West Acute Hospital by Ambulance.”
