ULSTER GAA, IFA and Rugby have all joined forces in a new Sport Uniting Communities project for young people.

The aim of the joint programme is to help build sustainable relations between young people from different backgrounds across the religious divide through Northern Ireland and the border counties.

The youth leadership segment of the project is currently running in Enniskillen with the Devenish Partnership Forum.

The youth focus is to provide opportunities for young people from the local area to engage in volunteering and personal development while progressing through a level 1 qualification in sport leadership.

As a result the young people should become ambassadors for their area, contribute to good relations event and learn lifelong skills to help them in the future.
