The Tilery Nursing Home are delighted to announce that they have been judged and awarded winners in the 2018 Best Kept Health & Social Care Facility for the Western Region
The Tilery had been awarded Highly Commended for the years 2016 & 2017, but this year the hard work, care and skilful labours of gardener Norman Stanford earned the Nursing Home the title of Winner.
This competition is run by the Northern Ireland Amenity council and is sponsored by George Best Belfast City Airport.
Nuala Wray, representing the Tilery, attended the award ceremony held at Knockbracken Healthcare Park Belfast, and was delighted to accept the award. The presentation was made by Mr Stephen Patton, Belfast City Airport. Mr Richard Pengelly permanent Secretary department of Health and Mrs Doreen Muskett MBE, chairman of the Northern Ireland Amenity council.
