Staff at Lisbellaw Primary School were forced to issue a text message to parents on Wednesday following claims of an attempted abduction of a child outside the school.
Four days after appealing for information the Police Service of Northern Ireland has today (Saturday) issued this statement:
"Following further investigations of a report of an alleged suspicious approach in the Lisabellaw area on Wednesday, October 10, police are satisfied that no offence took place.
"Police would like to thank those who assisted with their enquiries."
