Police are appealing for witnesses of a hit-and-run incident involving an 11 year old boy on the Forthill Road, Enniskillen around 3.45pm on Friday October 5.
A PSNI spokesman stated: “A lady driving a white car collided with an 11 year old boy who was crossing the road.”
“The young lad sustained bruising to his right knee and left ankle after being knocked to the ground. She did stop and ask if he was OK, but then left and didn't contact Police or the child's parents.”
Asking for help in tracing the driver, the PSNI spokesman continued: “Were you in the area / Did you see the incident? Do you have any dash cam footage of it?
If you were the driver, please make contact with Constable Hoey at Enniskillen station on 101 and quote incident number 260 28/9/18. The driver's obligations in these situations are clear, please come to us before we come to you. This could easily have been worse and the county has seen far too many tragedies on it's roads.”
