This year's Fermanagh Live Arts Festival (FLive) exceeded all expectations with a fabulous feast of arts and culture. The festival launched on September 6 with an exciting programme and fringe events including a Visual Arts Trail of exhibitions, masterclasses, music, drama and film. The diverse programme featured local and internationally renowned artists, writers and performers who exhibited throughout Enniskillen on and along the Waterways.
The festival weekend took place from October 3 to 7, with a fantastic variety of events from theatre to film screenings, to arts and literature talks. Young and emerging artists enjoyed a day of open-air theatre, art and games at the Buttermarket for the FLive Children’s Celebration. Little red boats ferried young excited 'Wilde' characters around the island town and were entertained along the way by Performing Arts students from the local schools and colleges.
The 2018 FLive festival was a huge success, bringing locals and visitors from further afield together to experience the thriving arts and culture scene of Fermanagh.
