Fire fighters were unable to “gain access” to tackle a large gorse fire on a mountain outside Tempo.
It was reported that a large area of gorse was on fire on Clabby Mountain on Tuesday night.
One fire service appliance from Clogher Fire Station attended the incident following a call at 9.32pm on Tuesday April 23 but fire fighters were unable to gain access due to the location of the blaze.
A spokeswoman for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said that there was a “large area of gorse on fire” but fire fighters were “unable to gain access due to location.”
It is understood that no property was damaged by the blaze and nobody was injured.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland confirmed that they also received a report of a fire in the area on Monday April 22 at 9.55pm but no action on their part was required.
