A helicopter has made an emergency landing during take off from St. Angelo Airport, Enniskillen this afternoon.
A spokesman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) stated: "Police received a report of a helicopter in distress at the Killadeas Road area of Enniskillen this afternoon (Tuesday June 25.)"
He continued: "The helicopter is believed to have made an emergency landing after take-off. Police attendance was not required and there were no reports of any injuries."
"The incident has been passed through to the Air Accident Investigation Branch for further investigation," the PSNI spokesman concluded.
In an earlier statement, the PSNI had said that "the helicopter is believed to have crashed on take-off." In a revised statement the PSNI said that "the helicopter is believed to have made an emergency landing after take-off."
