Detectives in Omagh are appealing for information following the report of a burglary in Trillick at the weekend where a sum of money and a quantity of jewellery had been taken.

Speaking on behalf of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) Detective Constable Sayers said: “Shortly before 4pm on Saturday, August 31, it was reported entry had been gained to a house in the Feglish Road area, sometime between 2pm and 3.45pm, and a sum of money and a quantity of jewellery had been taken."

“I would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who saw any suspicious activity, including any strange vehicles or persons, to get in touch with detectives in Omagh on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1272 of 31/08/19.”

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime,” Detective Constable Sayers concluded.
