One male casualty was taken to hospital following a two vehicle road traffic collision on the Glengesh Road, Tempo yesterday (Wednesday).

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) attended the incident.

Speaking to The Impartial Reporter a spokesman for the PSNI said: “We got a report at 7.36am this morning that a van and a Mercedes were in collision. The person from the van was taken to hospital”.

A NIAS spokesman stated: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 7.27am on Wednesday, November 13 following the reports.

On receiving the call, the NIAS despatched an emergency crew to the incident. “Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one male patient was taken, by ambulance, to South West Acute Hospital,” the NIAS spokesman concluded.
