An information roadshow to help familiarise Enniskillen residents with the availability of natural gas as an alternative energy supply, will be visiting the town again next week.

A drop-in information session will take place in Fermanagh House on Monday, January 20 between 4pm and 7pm. Information will also be available about connection offers to help households convert their existing fuel supply to natural gas.  

The main construction phase of the ‘Gas to the West’ project which is being delivered in partnership between SGN Natural Gas and Mutual Energy, has now been completed.

SGN Natural Gas will be delivering natural gas mains, services and meters to nearly 40,000 business and domestic customers over the next 40 years in key towns in its network area, including Enniskillen and Derrylin.

Darren Young, Head of Business Development with SGN Natural Gas, said: “There has been exceptional demand for natural gas in the network area to date. Information sessions are now underway to engage directly with consumers keen to make the switch.”

The information sessions taking place in Enniskillen in the coming weeks are as follows: - Fermanagh House, Monday, January 20, 4pm-7pm; Fermanagh Lakeland Forum, Monday, February 3, 4pm-7pm,; Fermanagh House, Monday, February 17, 4pm-7pm; and Westend Community Centre, Monday, March 2, 4pm-7pm.
