Police have released a photograph of the suspected Class A and B drugs, cash and large quantity of contraband cigarettes which were seized during proactive searches in the Magheraveely area of County Fermanagh on Sunday night (May 10).
Inspector Scott Fallis said: “Following a number of proactive searches in the area by the local Neighbourhood Policing Team, a quantity of suspected herbal cannabis, suspected class A drugs, almost 14,000 contraband cigarettes and a sum of cash were seized.
"The illegal supply and use of drugs is a priority for police, and seizures such as this demonstrate our ongoing commitment to tackling the scourge of drugs in our society.
“I would encourage anyone with information about the supply of illegal drugs to get in touch with police on 101."
Alternatively, information can be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100 per cent anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
