The total number of death reported by the Department of Health has risen to 544 in Northern Ireland with one further Covid-19 related death, according to the latest daily update from the department.
The statistics also report that three people tested positive for the virus out of 812 test in the past 24 hours. It brings the total number of positive tests to 4,866 out of 69,533 individuals tested.
The statistics show that Fermanagh and Omagh is still the least affected area with 10 deaths confirmed, however the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) reported there were 16 deaths in the district up until June 5.
The area is also the lowest for positive tests with 86 out 3,229 people tested. There have been no positive tests in the area in two weeks, since June 4.
The latest statistics from the Department of Health are mainly from hospital fatalities where a person has tested positive.
Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) data shows death toll reached 802 by June 12 and this includes care homes/ in the community/hospice and hospitals.
