A Motorcyclist was brought to hospital for his injuries after being involved in a road traffic collision on Boa Island on Sunday afternoon.

Police received a report of a road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist on Boa Island Road in Kesh on Sunday, September 27.

The PSNI said: "Police and other emergency services responded to the collision, which was reported at around 3:50pm. The male rider of the bike was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries."

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said: "We received a 999 call at 15.41pm on Sunday, September 27, 2020 following reports of a one vehicle road traffic collision at Derrynacrannog Road, Belleek.

"NIAS despatched one Emergency crews and one Rapid Response Paramedic to the scene.

"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to the South West Acute Hospital by ambulance."
