FERMANAGH and Omagh District Council have announced their plans for the two week lockdown period. A spokesperson for the Council said: "Following the announcement by the NI Executive of a two week ‘circuit breaker’ from Friday 27 November 2020 to help curb the spread of Covid-19, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has advised that the majority of its services will continue as before, with some exceptions to leisure services, in line with new restrictions."

From today (Friday 27 November 2020) The Council’s four leisure centres - the Bawnacre Centre, Irvinestown; Castle Park Centre, Lisnaskea; Fermanagh Lakeland Forum, Enniskillen and Omagh Leisure Complex – will be closed to the public. Outdoor sports facilities at the leisure centres will also close. Council phone lines and web chat via the Council website remain open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Registration services continue at the Connect Centre, County Buildings, Enniskillen and The Grange, Omagh, strictly by appointment only, for births, marriages and civil partnership registrations. Death registrations will be carried out without the need to attend the local registration office and can be completed over the telephone. Bereaved relatives will be contacted by the Registrar or their Funeral Director. Across the district Household waste collection service continues as normal, recycling centres will remain open, however, people should only visit if absolutely necessary, Council arts, culture and visitor attractions remain closed.

All other Council services and facilities continue to operate as before however this may be subject to change at short notice due to the fast-changing situation in relation to Covid-19 or operational requirements on Council critical services.
