THERE has been great sadness at the death of Mrs. Pauline Mary Elizabeth Elliott (nee Bruce), who passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

Late of Cosbystown, Blaney and formally the County Care Home, Enniskillen, Pauline grew up at St. Catherine's with her siblings, Albert, Bertie, Joyce and Edwin.

She married Ernest in February, 1956, and soon afterwards their children were born: Rhona, Richard, Heather and Ian.

Pauline was a keen baker, and was best known for her wheaten bread, and her bakery, 'Elliott's Home Flavour Bakery'.

After retiring in 2006, Pauline (and Ernest) moved to Blaney to be with their son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. She took great interest in knowing what was going on, on the farm.

Sadly, in 2019, Pauline took ill and was admitted to the South West Acute Hospital. Her health and mobility deteriorated, so there was no option but to send her to the County Care Home, for her to receive the care she needed.

Pauline greatly enjoyed visits from hr family and friends, and her family appreciated those who took the time to visit her.

Unfortunately, last March, due to the rise of the Covid-19 pandemic, visiting ceased. However, Pauline's loving family were grateful to still be able to see Pauline through the window.

Fortunately for Pauline, she died suddenly, and didn't suffer. She appeared to be in perfect health at 11am on the Thursday, but was later rushed to hospital that night. Her death was non-covid-related.

Pauline will be sadly missed by her family and friends, but they cherish their memories.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. Austen Stinson, W. T. Morrison, Enniskillen.
